Ride your mountain bike on rolling trails through the lush meadows and shady forests right to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. You’ll be riding between 6000’- 9000’ above sea level right on the edge of the post-card views that have made this geologic anomaly one of the Seven Wonders of the World! Summer is the perfect season for mountain bike riding on the Grand Canyon’s North Rim. Our 5-day route explores the labyrinth of trails and roads situated on the Kaibab Plateau in a National Forest. Warm days with cool nights, beautiful single track, campsites in Old Growth Ponderosa Pine Forests with stands of Quaking Aspen & lush fields of fragrant Lupine make this tour outstanding! Grand Canyon’s North Rim trips meet in Kanab, UT on the evening before the tour for a pre-trip meeting & dinner at the Rocking V Cafe. Grand Canyon’s North Rim Classic 5-day Tour - Experienced Beginner to Expert / Mid-Alpine / Good Fitness This is our most popular summer trip. We’ll spend four nights camping and the daily mileages range between 13-28 miles/day. This itinerary follows the Arizona trail #101 & Rainbow Rim Trail at a relaxed pace allowing for time to explore by foot, listen to the breeze in the trees or watch for the rare California Condor. Grand Canyon’s North Rim Advanced Fitness 4-day Tour - Intermediate to Expert / Mid-Alpine / Advanced Fitness This tour has three nights camping with daily mileages ranging between 20-40mi, riding the same great trails that we do on our 5-day. Grand Canyon’s North Rim 4-day Family Sampler - Experienced Beginner to Expert / Mid-Alpine / Good Fitness This tour is geared toward families with kids & folks who prefer day trips based out of a lodge. We’ll stay three nights at the Kaibab Lodge and camp out one night. |
